2018 JCI TOYP Honoree: https://toyp.jci.cc/

He started three companies, created a device called the Lumen that helps blind people get around, he’s written a book called the Arduino Development Cookbook, is an Innovation Manager at Continental, is a Forbes 30 under 30 Standout

Combining 3D sensorics and advanced electric skin impulse devices, the system was capable of explaining the environment in which the user was. Using it, a blind person was capable of regaining some spatial awareness. During tests, visually impaired individuals were capable of navigating through open doors, without touching them, detecting the shape of a room or even catching a ball for the first time in their lives. Major investments were required to develop .lumen, which were obtained from investors in both Romania and Germany. While the system worked with great accuracy in indoor situations, outdoor testing revealed major issues with the 3D sensors and the project was temporally halted, waiting for sensor technology to advance.

One of the most recent venture is a new start-up which deals with creating mobility devices for people with locomotive handicap, inspired from the condition of his parents.
